Welcome to SNU FGTB Lab

We are conducting comprehensive breeding research on a wide range of tree species, including pines and larches which are the main plantation tree species, as well as aspens and oaks. To this end, we collect and continuously monitor various samples and resources in the field.

In addition, we are conducting molecular-level analysis of the collected forest resources based on basic biotechnology experiments such as DNA extraction, PCR, electrophoresis, and RNA-seq.
